Carlo Forcolini, a designer since 1970, represents an unusual intercultural and cross-operational case.

His products were first selected by Gio Ponti for Domus in 1971. After a brief collaboration with the Castiglioni brothers’ studio and a long professional activity with Vico Magistretti, he began working as a product designer for Alias, Amar Collezioni, Artemide, Caimi, Cassina, De Padova, Gervasoni, Luceplan, Nemo, OY Light, Pomellato, Valenti and Zumtobel. He eventually became co-founder and CEO of Amar Collezioni, Alias, Nemo and OY Light. From 2002 to 2008 he was National President of ADI, winning the Compasso d’Oro Career Award in 2020.
