Una Gru di luce

GRUS metafora geometrica degli eleganti volatili dalle lunghe zampe e di una piccola costellazione, la cui conformazione ricorda proprio la figura di una "gru" pronta a spiccare il volo, la nuova lampada da terra disegnata da Alberto Saggia e Valerio Sommella per LUMEN CENTER ITALIA.

A crane of light

GRUS geometric metaphor of elegant birds with long paws and also of the homonym small constellation - named in latin Grus - whose stars seems to draw a crane ready to take off.
This is the concept behind the new floor lamp designed by Alberto Saggia e Valerio Sommella for LUMEN CENTER ITALIA.

Metafora gemetrica

Lampada da terra con punto luce decentrato caratterizzata da un'esile struttura geometrica realizzata in lamiera verniciata e disponibile nelle finiture grigio grafite o grigio perla.
La struttura portante è divisa in due parti, una imperniata sull'altra, tenute in tensione da un cavo metallico che scorre parallelo alla struttura e fissato alla base romboidale.
La regolazione della tensione del cavo consente la regolazione in altezza del grande diffusore in tessuto che nasconde la sorgente luminosa.
Diffusore disponibile nelle finiture white, red wine e sage.

Geometric metaphor

Floor lamp with decentralized lighting spot and with a thin geometric structure finely realized in aluminium sheet and available in graphite grey or pearl grey finishes.
The framework is composed of two parts, one pivoted on the other, fixed by a metal adjustable wire along the structure and set on the metal rhomboidal base.
The adjustment of the metal wire allows height regulation of the large textile diffuser that hides the light source.
Diffuser available in three colours: white, red wine and sage.
