EXTRA has been an unmissable event for art and design enthusiasts for years. This seventh edition, dedicated to the theme of the “sacred,” has offered a profound reflection on rebirth and renewal, both at an individual and collective level. The church of San Vittore retains an innate sacredness, offering a perfect match between Art and Light.
A perfect symbiosis between art and light
LUMEN CENTER has contributed to light up the works of internationally renowned artist Daniele Basso, known for his participation, among others, in the Venice Biennale.
Grus, Planets, and Luxsi were chosen to enhance the mirrored steel sculptures that have made Basso famous worldwide, engaging with his works of art to create an immersive and unique experience for visitors.
Our lamps have integrated into the sacred environment to remind us that “true research begins with the simplicity of each of our days. Other values are fundamental, but to understand them, we must first live our lives fully, made up of domestic and work routines, moments of dialogue with ourselves and those around us, moments of rest and “purification” of body and spirit, but also of thoughts and memories.”
